Abode of memories: Man moving house 150-feet away to avoid demolition in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 08 (ANI): Jagmohan Singh, a resident of Jammu, has hired a Haryana-based company that specialises in moving houses, they are moving his house nearly 150 feet away from the present location. According to Jagmohan Singh, this house was designed by her late wife who died due to corona. Jagmohan Singh said that there are a lot of memories of his late wife attached to the house but due to road widening, the house came under the project and had to be demolished. The house owner googled and found a company which moves the houses with special techniques. So, he hired them and now his house is being moved from its present location to nearly 150 feet away from the roadside. The company’s manager said that they are expert in moving the houses and will move this house also. It will take nearly two to three months to move. Jagmohan Singh is spending nearly 50 to 60 lakh rupees to move his house from one place to another.
