Famous South Korean MC embroiled in a love scandal with a female CEO?

Hanoi [Vietnam], June 5: Private messages revealed in MBC's investigative program have made MC Mong and Cha Ga Won, the female CEO of One Hundred Label, the center of controversy in South Korea.
The South Korean entertainment industry is abuzz with news surrounding singer and producer MC Mong (47 years old, real name Shin Dong Hyun) and Cha Ga Won, the chairwoman of Piak Group and CEO of One Hundred Label. The scandal erupted after MBC's investigative program, PD Notebook, aired a special episode titled " MC Mong and the K-pop business secrets of the chairwoman ."
On June 3rd, Star News Korea and Maeil Business Newspaper reported that the program had released several text messages allegedly sent by MC Mong to relatives of Cha Ga Won. The content of these messages raised suspicions that the two had a romantic relationship beyond that of colleagues. However, the authenticity of these messages remains a subject of debate .
In the program PD Notebook , a man introduced as a relative of Cha Ga Won publicly revealed text messages allegedly sent by MC Mong. According to the program's excerpts, MC Mong allegedly admitted to having dated Cha Ga Won after receiving her attention and support over the years.
Besides the romantic rumors, the program also addressed allegations related to financial activities, fund management, and money allegedly used to support MC Mong over the past period. These contents quickly spread on South Korean social media, causing public opinion to be divided.
According to the Korea Times , the program also mentioned allegations that the messages contained content such as MC Mong confirming his relationship with Cha Ga Won. However, this information only appeared in the investigative program and has not been independently confirmed by authorities.
MC Mong speaks out to deny the allegations.
Following the broadcast, MC Mong repeatedly denied all the allegations. Star News Korea reported that during a live social media broadcast on June 3rd, the singer stated that he felt exhausted by the ongoing controversy. MC Mong asserted that the program had not fully verified the information before broadcasting and denied the allegations related to his private life. He stated that the information released had seriously affected his reputation and career.
The male singer also announced that he would take strong legal action to protect himself against what he considers to be false information. According to Star News Korea , MC Mong and related parties are considering filing a lawsuit, seeking compensation for damages from those who disseminated or spread the allegations that they believe are unfounded.
Cha Ga Won's side also issued a statement denying the information.
Not only MC Mong, but Cha Ga Won also denied all allegations related to a romantic relationship with the male singer.
