Washington [US], July 14: Reuters on July 13 reported that US billionaire Elon Musk has just launched an artificial intelligence (AI) startup xAI to compete with OpenAI - the company that owns the ChatGPT application.
According to the plan, xAI will be run by Mr. Musk independently of his other companies, and its goal will be "to understand the true nature of the universe". Supporting Mr. Musk is a team of former engineers at companies Google, Microsoft and OpenAI. Besides, he predicts that AI smarter than humans will appear in 5 or 6 years.
Also yesterday, Alphabet Corporation launched the AI Bard chatbot in Europe and Brazil, the largest expansion of the product since its launch in February. Similar to ChatGPT, Bard uses generalized AI to chat with people . user.
